2010 Season

Name: Mark Knubley

Injury type: Black eye (this image was taken six days after the incident, any images taken prior to this were considered unsuitable for a family web site).

Injury caused by: Vishal Masih with a vicious slog drive during a game of quick cricket. Mark took the ball full in the eye, I think we are all thankful it wasn't a proper cricket ball being used.

Mark is now pursuing a career as a double for Arnold schwarzenegger in Terminator 5.

Name: Lee Jackson

Injury type: Swollen and badly bruised right knee.

Injury caused by: Rob Cooke and his new illegal banana ball, deliberately targeting the batsman's legs without shame.

Name: Rob Cooke

Injury type: Bloody obvious, it's a black eye innit!

Injury caused by: Vish - clearly irritated by not getting the bowler of the season award last year decides to take matters into his own hands. The old adage ''If you can't beat them, kill them!" springs to mind! Note to self, bowlers should not attempt to sweep a spinning delivery, that's a proper batsmans stroke!

Name: James Fendick

Injury type: Badly swollen balls and oddly enough an orange penis!

Injury caused by: Well surprise surprise Rob Cooke is involved once again. This time though he will remain blameless. Whilst batting, Jim gets a thick inside edge into the nether regions.......but was not wearing a box! A mistake that can only be made once surely!

Note that due to Jim being camera shy and the intimate nature of the injury this photograph was very difficult to come by. We would like to thank Noops for getting close enough to Jim to use his photographic skills and for taking one for the team!

Name: Anoop Masih

Injury type: Swollen and bruised right knee.

Injury caused by: Finally an injury that wasn't caused by one of our own players! Anoop fielding at short mid off makes a smart stop to a full blooded off drive saving a certain boundary. Probably better to use your hand next time!

Injury type: Lump on forehead.

Injury caused by: The ball! Vic Catlin throwing to the non strikers end with Master Cope cleverly using his forehead to take the pace off of the throw.

Injury rating: 1 (and that's being generous Mr Cope!)

Name: Roy C

Injury type: Cut above the eye

Injury caused by: Roy over balanced at the wicket whilst batting......face and Astroturf greeted each other resulting in the injury above. Roy won the Hall Of Pain injury of the season last year and made a pretty desperate attempt to do so again this year!
